My Roommate Is A Vampire by Jenna Levine

I hated this novel. A vampire has been asleep for 100 years and decides that the best way to reintegrate into society is to get a roommate. Instalust, thinly drawn characters with a complete lack of consistent characterization, and an incredibly terribly unbelievable final act. But hey, there’s sequel bait in the epilogue! ⭐

Heartbeat (2023) S01E01-02

I loved this show. A vampire has been asleep for 100 years and is forced to share his house with the descendant of his butler as he attempts to reintegrate into society and fulfill his dream of becoming human. She’s a school nurse, and might be more interested in hooking up with an old university friend than the weird new guy who claims he’s a vampire.
