The Great Pumpkin

Dry shake one egg, 2 oz. pumpkin ale (try to knock as much CO2 out of it as you can first), 1 oz. rye whisky, 1 oz. apple brandy, and 0.5 oz. maple syrup. Add ice and shake well, then double-strain into a tall glass and garnish with grated nutmeg. This was my first time trying this recipe (evidently from Jim Meehan’s The PDT Cocktail Book), and I’m not entirely happy with it.

Evil Dead II

The first film is horror with occasional slapstick moments and the third film is slapstick with a horror veneer, but this one might be my favourite. It amps up the humour without letting up on the tension.

Wellington Paranormal S1E4

A werewolf episode, but no Rhys Darby. Shame.
