Phantasm II

The first film was bad, but surreal and atmospheric. This one was more grounded and high-budget and boring.

Anaconda (1997)

“It was you who brought that snake. You brought the devil!”

Okay, I guess. The special effects haven’t aged as badly as some, but the plot and characters aren’t anything special and the monster is ultimately just a big snake.
