En 1536, huyendo de la Inquisición el alquimista Uberto Fulcanelli desembarcó en Veracruz, México. Nombrado relojero oficial del virrey Fulcanelli estaba decidido a perfeccionar un invento que le proporcionaria la llave para alcanzar la vida eterna. Y habría de llamarlo el artilugio de Cronos.

Guillermo del Toro’s freshman feature features an evil monster who sucks the life out of his family in a desperate attempt to stave off death. (There’s also a vampire.)

Evil Dead Rise

It was the perfect day and all I could think about was how much I wanted to cut you all open and climb inside your bodies so that we could stay one happy family.”

Straight horror is not the direction I personally want the series to go, but it’s a damn good film.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

“There will be no repeat occurrences of last night’s events. From now on your doors will be locked during sleeping hours. We’ll start a policy of evening sedation for everybody.”

Meh. I think this series just isn’t for me. Maybe if it had stayed gay…
