The resolution of the central mystery was disappointing, but I’m intrigued by the world so I’ll check out the second book. ⭐⭐

The Final Girls

I’m glad I waited to watch this after we had seen some Friday the 13th films, because there are definitely things I would have missed without that context. I really loved this film; the performances are great, the humour and meta commentary land, and it made me cry.
